The State Department for Diaspora Affairs is collecting information on opportunities and challenges encountered in making investments by the Kenyan Diaspora through administering the Diaspora Investment Strategy questionnaire. The data collected will be incorporated in preparing the inaugural Diaspora Investment Strategy. The High Commission requests the Kenyan Diaspora in Uganda to complete the questionnaire which can be accessed through the link below.

This is to inform that Dr. Jim Justus Nyamu, Cde’, OGW who is leading the East and Central Africa “Ivory Belongs to Elephants” awareness campaign walk is currently in Uganda (from 25th August 2023) for the second leg of his walk.
The campaign walk from Nairobi through Uganda, Rwanda and terminating in the Democratic Republic of Congo seeks to create awareness of the importance of conserving the African elephants across the East African region.
You are invited to join Dr. Nyamu during his walk and awareness campaign in the Republic of Uganda.
Kenya High Commission will join him at Mabira Forest (Mother Kevin College) on September 2, 2023 for at tree planting day and on Tuesday 5th September 2023 for a short walk from Kololo Airstrip. You are all welcome to join.

The Directorate of Immigration Services in the the Republic of Kenya informs the general public that Kenya is bound to migrate fully to to the new East African Community biometric e-passport by 30th November 2022.
Kenyans are hereby advised to acquire the new biometric e-passport to avoid any inconvenience.
