All visitors coming to Kenya (citizens of EAC Partner States are exempt) are required to apply for the Kenya Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) through www.etakenya.go.ke
The eTA is a semi-automated system that determines the eligibility of visitors to travel to Kenya. Each eligible traveler is required to apply for an eTA before starting travel. For children under the age of 18, the legal guardian, parent or accompanying adult is responsible for filling the application.
The Kenya High Commission in Kampala was established in 1981 as a military liaison office to strengthen the historic relations between Kenya and Uganda with the first High Commissioner, reporting on 2nd March, 1981.
Since then, the two countries have grown to be each other’s key trading partner and play a key role in regional integration matters
